Boston Swan Boats Trip

We had a wonderful trip to Boston today!  We couldn't have asked for more enthusiastic and cooperative students, more helpful chaperones, or more beautiful weather!  We enjoyed seeing and learning about many of the places in Robert McCloskey's "Make Way for Ducklings" book.  The peaceful ride on the Swan Boats was certainly a highlight.  The students also enjoyed seeing the gold dome on the State House, Louisburg Square, the statues of Mrs. Mallard and her ducklings, lots of real ducks, two real swans, turtles, and the playground!  I want to say a special "thank you" to Mrs. Shaw, Mrs. Lewandowski, Mrs. Trowbridge, Mrs. Lowenstein, Mr. and Mrs. Rosolino, Mr. Carlson, and Mr. Oliveira for their willingness to join us and for being such great chaperones!
